Boss has one.

He prefers the Boxster S (his other car) to it.

It doesn't handle as well and he keeps breaking his 18" rims on the potholes in NYC.

how do they test 0-60 anyway?
do they just floor the gas pedal like there is no tomorrow?

If you're going to make a second or third or fourth screenname, at least be entertaining.

If you didn't want my opinion, then you wouldn't have come to a public message board to ask a question.

You gotta love this...

Bro in law wants a car he knows nothing about. This guy decides to find out about this car so he posts a question in a computer hardware forum. Intelligence obviously doesn't run in this family. You'd think one of them would pick up a magazine or do an Internet search first and then ask questions, but I guess it was easier to create a new account here.

Except that there are almost as many car enthusiasts here as computer enthusiasts. You've been here long enough, you should know that.

And who cares if he knows nothing about a car he is interested in? Isn't that why he is asking about it? Your infantile logic escapes me.

we all know porsche drivers don't get laid. The M3 does ~ 4.8 to 60 and 13.2-13.4 in 1/4 for the manual transmission. Tell him to get an elise.

The M3 is a good -- strike that, great -- car; but make no mistake, if you're looking for a drag monster, you might be happier somewhere else. Having said that, the car is stellar in the twisties. To top it all off, it's fairly practical, what with a sizable trunk and a reasonable rear seat.

Also, if you're not a manual fanboy; be sure to drive one of the SMG machines, I hear they're tons of fun.

He drives in the city? Wow, that takes guts. You have to not care at ALL about your car, your pocketbook, or your life to drive in NYC.
