Says it plays WMAs in that review. I'm thinking about this, it's definetly warm. Wish the battery would last longer.

If you look at the cons, I thnk that was one of the cons. It does not.

 
Note: I just saw in Billboard Biz today that Olympus is getting out of the MP3 field and these units are over. Given that tech support was poor when they were new, expect none moving forward.

Do you own an M:robe?

Lots of reviews complain about it, but I took a gamble and i like mine a lot. Most of the cons that reviews stated I found to only be a problem to the most impatiant person. Go to the store and try it out. If you have big, meaty fingers, you might not like it because there is a lot of touching involved. However, I like it and was able to pick up the interface quick and like it more than other mp3 players. Battery life is average, but lasts me a couple of days of light to medium use as long as I turn of the LCD screen.
 
I have the M:Robe 100 MP3 and it's great. 100.00 at Ratshack for a 5GB player. I think I am going to look into this 500i for 189.99. If this works as well as my M 100 I'll be a happy guy.
