Anyone else get an email to play?

anyone playing yet?

Graphics and description make it seem interesting.

My experience soon after it came out:

Great! I love HoMM! Hm, this is like a browser game with one screen. Build a couple things. Build another thing. 'Build time 5 hours, spend money to speed it up.' Uninstall.

I did not care for the bit of gameplay I had much.

I'll play the originals.

I started it the other day after seeing some stuff on Twitter. My initial impression is it's your typical F2P game. Things are time limited, like taxes from your Town Hall and creature recruiting. It really holds your hand at the beginning, with the quests introducing you to town management, building construction, and army setup. It's very much Heroes, but it's more of a time waster where you might only feel like playing for 20-30 minutes then leave it sit for a few hours until things replenish.

It's free to play and there's no download. You'll probably be able to determine if it's something you want to keep playing within the first 30 minutes to an hour.

I honestly thought this was a thread about an MMO based on M&Ms, the chocolates, not might and magic
