What's wrong with your wife's buttering skills? Does she put, like, one single drop on and you want more? Does she float a few pieces of popcorn in a sea of butter?

How do you screw up popcorn and butter?

she DOUSES the popcorn in butter. She did so much one night that it leaked through the bag!

We usually buy the tubs now as to avoid that situation, but she's also been working on the butter skills. Those things are crazy, the ones we have here you just push the button and it keeps going until you let off!

hahaha...

I like popcorn the hard way. Cover the bottom of a big pan in veggie oil, pour in one cup of popcorn seeds, turn the stove on high, and "shake" the pan across the stove. Light, fluffy popcorn. Then just melt a little bit of real butter, pour it over the popcorn in a big bowl and mix it up evenly with a spatula.

Nom. Freaking. Nom.

I like that stuff too, but it ends up just caking on everything it touches. I practically have to pressure wash my fingers after that stuff (but it's worth it).

that butter/syrup goo is an abomination. popcorn should only ever be eaten without it.

I only ride HO scale :sneaky:

:D

I had a big HO scale set when I was a kid. Thing was like 5'x10', had grass, houses, train station, trees, people, the works. Once it was all together, I didn't bother playing with it much. I'd rather build them because once that's done the fun is over.

I dabbled a bit with a model train set with my brother and my Dad, but we didn't go very far with the scenery.

I enjoyed building with Lego far more as a kid.
