That was a great post.

Anyway, the tablet is codenamed the Courier. It looks to be brilliant. If you head on over to:http://gizmodo.com/5365299/cou...crosofts-secret-tablet You can read up on the tablet in question. They even have a video to show what it will be able to accomplish. They've said it's in the "late prototype" stage which means possibly pre-production units and then consumer production. Can't wait to see how this one pans out.

LOL, posted from my phone earlier, difficult to make a coherent post in a hurry on a phone :D

Anyway, I'd be a lot more impressed if the video wasn't animated, the pics are likely a mock up, and the prototype likely looks like a bundle of wires and is anything but the seamless device shown in the video.

Plus, it takes M$ 3 generations to get something to work right

I'm not too surprised. MS is commonly known for Windows and viruses and IE and crap and Office. Until I bought a Thinkpad tablet, I wouldn't have figured they had good software for tablets.

MS Windows XP Tablet edition and MS Vista/7 are much better for supporting tablet features than Linux or OSX. One of the essential software for a tablet is MS OneNote for note taking. MS InkSeine (similar to onenote) is a free app in beta(long beta) that is also great. The pen interface option selection UI shown in the video and graphics is very similar to what they use in InkSeine.
