M.2 PCIe for Asus Z97I-PLUS??

I have an Asus Z97I-PLUS motherboard that says it has an M.2 Socket 3, M Key, 2260/2280, SATA and PCIe slot.

Are there any consumer/retail packaged M.2 PCIe drives at 256GB or larger (preferably 512GB) that I can put in this thing? Everything I have found seems to be using the SATA interface instead of PCIe.

Normally I can find anything in a couple iterative Google searches. What am I missing here, do these drives not exist?
 
the samsung xp941, first gen, PCIe 2.0 x4, then the Samsung SM951 is also availble in 512 GB variant. It's been available in the AHCI protocol, and the NVMe protocul unit is about to start shipping
