MX500 is the most comfortable mouse for me.
However, it is just bit too heavy when I am gaming!

In case you gamer out there doesn't know, simply remove three screws on the buttom of your mouse.

Then you will discover the 20 gram FAT secure by a single screw inside of you mouse.

REMOVE it!!!!!

p.s. now I can go sea fishing!

Lots of consumer electronics are. "Heavy means quality"
Or so the thinking goes. Heck I fall for it, pick up something and if it feels too light I question it's quality.
Also for balance sometimes.

I was on the phone once in one of those neverending conversations, some family member who just wouldn't shut up. So I'm saying 'yeah' 'ok' 'bye' 'oh ok'....spotted my cordless drill nearby. Reached over for it and started drilling holes in the phone (it was a bad day anyway) After about five it finally quit working so I took it apart and found 3 pieces of cast iron inside. One big one in the base about the size of a credit card and 1/2" thick and found two smaller ones in the handset. The big one I actually used to tie to the dog while training him not to jump the fence out of the yard.

My story for the day 🙂

i want to hear more stories, McCarthy. that was a good one, and you sound like the type of person who has more. i'm serious. i constantly check the stupidities section of www.rinkworks.com and techtales.com because i love stories about technology.

--your secret admirer. 😉

p.s. i agree with the weight thing. i guess that it has to do with the whole "old world quality" idea that has seemed to have gotten stuck in our heads. quality items are made of dense wood and heavy metal. i'm certainly guilty of it.

A good mouse mat like the Everglide Giganta/Ratpadz etc will do wonders,it`s like having a mouse on ice so the weight factor becomes a non-issue.
