Lunar eclipse tomorrow morning

The second — and final — total lunar eclipse of 2014 will occur early Wednesday morning, just before sunrise in the Eastern Time Zone and in the middle of the night on the West Coast.
The moon will appear a coppery red, so it's been called a "blood" moon. It'll look red because of all the sunsets and sunrises from the Earth that will reflect onto the lunar surface. (During the eclipse, although it's completely in the shadow of Earth, a bit of reddish sunlight still reaches the moon.)

this is the 3rd this year correct?

the first one i believe, was the beautiful one, i watched it eclipse from about 3-330am, turned deep beautiful red, first time i've ever seen it in my life, and one of the coolest astronomical events i've ever witnessed, on par with the palladies? (sp) meteor shower years ago.

Yeah the wife told me about that, might get a good view of it down here.

Might have to take my camera to work, it has a good view of the sky and would have to walk out and see it from there.

Thought about waking up for this one, but it's raining and will probably be cloudy overnight... That's ignoring the row of houses across the street blocking my view.

Probably will be clear there at work, and have a pretty nice panoramic view there.

My camera still is old but gonna do it, it's not horrible.

Putting it out with my going out the door stuff so I don't forget.

I have no idea if it's right, but

The second — and final — total lunar eclipse of 2014 ...

i think this is a pic i took of the first one, i think this was pre eclipse though, it might not even be the right night, i took pics, just not sure if these are the right ones..

it's one of those things a camera just cant do justice too though really.

Well, as luck would have it there is a light over cast and all I see in the sky is a glowing blob. **Flips the sky off** 😡

Took a few decent photos with my wife's NEX-5N. Sadly only have a 18-55mm lens so I couldn't get great close ups. Didn't have time to upload them before I left for work.

My daughter and I got up early this morning to check it out. Crisp morning and clear out and it didn't disappoint!

Saw it while it was being covered by the earths shadow. Became cloudy when it reached total eclipse. :\

Meant to get up at 4:30am to take a look. Overslept to almost 5:00, and snapped a few pics before clouds started rolling in. One of these days I wanna get a decent telescope and mount my camera onto that.

Apparently, the clouds cleared a bit overnight, but still not clear. Next one is in March 2015 or something.

I got up to look but the eclipse was eclipsed by a mountain ridge so no eclipse for me. It did get really, really dark in the canyon.
