Cool see more red in that one than mine.



Don't see much anymore as I have to keep shutter speed low. But yeah it's more or less near full now. Going to call it a night since I work tomorrow.

I really need to figure out a proper tripod setup though, something I can do fine adjustments that is solid and not wobbly.

I haven't broke out the camera in a while, but I'm happy to for an eclipse!

This one is a 50mm composite of two photos. The Beehive cluster (M44) is to the lower left of the moon. Taken with a Canon T4i DSLR and 50mm F1.8 lens.

Dammit...I checked a few times during the event...total cloud cover...took the dogs out to pee just after midnight...there was the bright orb shining in the night sky with only a few bands of clouds... missed it by > < that much... :confused:

I had a good view of the moon from one of my bedroom windows, but I went to bed before it started. Oh well.
