Lunar eclipse going on right NOW.

It's kind of orange-ish here in California (Fair Oaks) right now. Light pollution sucks, but my next-door neighbor (to the East) was kind enough to turn off her outdoor lights when I asked politely.

In fact, she set up camp on her porch and brought her grand-daughter out to watch.

All those meat disposal trucks driving by & giving off methane probably had something to do with it. Brooklyn stinks. 😛

I just looked it up on Mapquest. There is a Fair Oaks near Sacremento, one near Stockton, and another up near Willits. ... pollution ... that probably rules out Willits. Where in the heck are you?

We had an unusually clear day here near Tacoma, WA. The eclipse was a rare sight. ... very nice.

😛
