I thought I had a big zit on my back, but after a few days it's sore to touch and nearly quarter sized. I guess I'll swing by the doc at school tomorrow and have em check it. Yey.
 
I had a boil in my armpit a few months ago. I thought it was an impacted hair or something at first but it wouldn't go away.

I went to the quick care and they lanced it. They gave me a local but it really didn't do the job, it was one of the most painful things I've gone through, because they had to dig and dig and dig and dig and dig and dig.... Then they put a strip of gauze in to suck up all the pus and you have to pull it out a couple of days later. Quite, quite nasty.

Heh - sorry, no vids, but this is the Intranets, I'm sure you can find some.

The funniest part was the doctor (female) and nurse were both quite young and attractive. I'm a 42 y.o. married guy, but you still don't want to come across as a wuss to attractive women - it's just instinctive. So she's digging around trying to get all the "stuff" out and it hurts like a mother, and I'm trying to be mr. macho and act like nothing's happening.

I've helped a few friends in need with cysts before. I used a high quality razor blade sterilized in alcohol. Getting your hands on a surgical quality scalpel is cherry.
