what's the deal with free renewals at colonize?

colonize_com doesn't bring up much.

Ummm, realize that this isn't a deal. This is the standard offering for Maximum PC. It's been this price forever. Also realize that there are TWO kinds of subscriptions for Maximum PC. The basic sub with NO cd which is 12 dollars and the more expensive sub for like 29 bucks or something which has the cd. A lot of folks subscribe and then post on the MPC forums "Where's my cd. I paid my 12 bucks. They sent me a mag, but no cd." Now ya know the reason. Too bad it isn't a deal though, I'm up for renewal right now. Ugh.

i think u can get maxim for 4.95/year and a lot of others..discountmags i think..do a search

You want a deal on Maximum PC, you should go though ebates.com and order it from a site called NBAF Magazines. They give a 25% ebate, cheapest price I've found for Maximum PC. That's where I got my last renewal.
