Two new Best Buy coupons, although they're not the "caliber" of the 10-percent and $10 Gift Card coupons, valid through 31 Jan and 30 Mar respectively....

Some of these coupons appear to be regional in nature. If you find that one of the coupons is not in your issue, please post what state/region the magazine was delivered to or purchased in.

That means if you pricematch, you will most likely lose the value of the coupon doing the pricematch. The January 6th Newsweek has NEVER been verified, to the best of my knowledge. The issue available in my region Has the cover story titled "2003 Year of the Matrix". The very top of the cover page starts with the subtitle "The WHO'S NEXT issue", followed by the subtitle "SPECIAL DOUBLE EDITION", dated 30 Dec/06 Jan issue. The coupon HAS NOT been in this issue that I've looked through in several different states. If the "06 January" issue is "real", it must be available only on a regional basis.

10-percent off details: When you're checking-out, pay attention to what "rings-up" on the register - the 10-percent off coupon will show on their register screen as "Holiday Package ". While the coupon is coded into their computer system and will show on your receipt as "Holiday Magazine Coupon" - if the CSR doesn't know what they're doing, the coupon will come-up as a $10.00 off coupon - not 10-percent off. But then again, if the item is less than $100 - $10.00 off is better - so pray for incompetence if this is the only coupon you have!
 
Hey unclebud - could you post the following information so I can edit the initial post?

- magazine newsstand price (is it $6.99 or $5.99 - front cover near UPC);
- page number the coupon is on (p. xxx);
- date of the magazine issue (Jan ?? 2003).

The $10 GC coupon is in the Feb 2003 Computer Shopper -- but it's not in the main magazine. It's in the Ultimate Hardware Guide supplement that came with this issue. It's on page 21.
