For varying definitions of "Alien", of course "they" do.... But someone have to explain to me why point of entry to the human race is flying triangles/pyramids in 320x240 pixel videos? My intuition into statistics tells me that smells like a few truckloads of manure.

In no way would I assume the benevolence of an alien species. If national governments believed this was a reasonable possibility, then I would hope/expect we would be reacting strongly to ensure the survival of our and other native Earth species.

In response to OP. I'm with you. Yup, it's a UFO. It's unidentified flying object. What is it? As neil says, show me any proof of what it is. Sounds like the election was stolen line, but eh it applies here too. Another thing, you'd expect a super advanced alien race to manipulate the cosmos, stars and whatnot right? I dont think we se evidence of that still with all the lenses that is pointed towards the sky today... everything is behaving very Einstein like and those pesky black holes is doing their quantum thing ... no real surprises on the night sky. If you can control gravity and take your relative spaceframe with you, inertia may not be a problem. Which may explain how they could be here in the first place, if you can control gravity, maybe you can change space time ie. travel faster than the speed of light.

I don't see any sign such beliefs have reached an equivalent degree of spread on 'the left' as Q-anonsense has on the right. UFOstuff seems decidedly non-partisan and spread across the political spectrum, to me. Like a lot of eccentric beliefs (e.g. cranky ideas around food).

I forgot the theory’s name but it was sort of sad. Concept is there are tons of advanced civilizations in space, just not all at the same time. Each race/civilization lasts only a tiny flash in history then goes extinct. Faster than light travel is not possible.
Basically advanced civilizations live out their days on their planet and that’s it until either they kill themselves, nature kills them like global warming or something catastrophic kills them like a massive asteroid. Millions or billions of years pass and a new “smart” civilization appears somewhere else.
We are all too far apart and too few at any given time to contact each other.
