lucky driver with diesel engine

can't believe diesel is cheaper than gasoline now. Still remember when gas was still $.99 and diesel was $1.69 or something like that

My dad has a tdi, it gets over 1100km to the tank (about 50 or 55: I forget) and diesel is about 20 cents a liter cheaper than gas.

WTF were you smoking.....government grown hydro?!?!?
Hey, I remeber when dime bags actually cost $10 (or $10-15) and were measured by fingers, as in a three finger or a four finger bag AND I got paid to smoke the government grown goodness at UCLA Medical Center (I'm a pro, baby).😛

ahhh the good old days... how many times have I said I'm too young? If only I were 15 years older I would have been in a lot better times...

I remember when gas was $.25/gal. and you could buy a kilo for $35.

Yep, I'm an old fvck. 😀

Oh, and diesel was $.12/gal. It used to be cheaper than gas.

IIRC, diesel is unrefined gasoline, right?

Diesel is refined as well, else you would have oil sludge in a diesel tank. It is just a different product. Basically gasoline has a lot of aromatic compounds; benzene, tolouene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX), trimethylbenzenes, tetramethylbenzenes, and a whole other slew aromatic compounds. Diesel, on the other hand, has aliphatic compounds; straight chained or branched alkanes and alkenes. Kerosene is much like diesel, except that it has compounds a few carbons smaller.

😕

Hasn't a dime bag always meant 10$ worth?

That's what it means nowadays.. lol.

Although, 10$ probably got you a lot more then than now. 😛

0.875g to be exact. :Q
