OK, this is an XDA rumor, but the poster, while not (to me) a known insider, isn't a known BSer either. And it makes sense.
The Droid Charge (the device formerly known as the Samsung Stealth) looks like a superior device (4.3" SAMOLED+ and Hummingbird, not to mention Droid-branded for actual updates), but its imminent release early next month makes it likely Verizon pulls the 4G plug sooner rather than later. Besides, can't you always return the Thunderbolt and swap in the Charge without a data plan change?
