Has anyone else tried these LTB AC97 headphones?
I get static sometimes, and on LTB's site they blame it on my Asus A8N-SLI.
"Most often it?s a bad or poorly grounded USB port on the computer system"
All of my USB ports give me the same result. Does this soud right? It just seems funny that they have had to address this problem enough to be one of their 7 troubleshooting tips. I dunno, but it seems to me like they are passing the buck.
The other problem that I am having is the mic. I damn near have to put the mic in my mouth to get sound out of it. The Asus sound effect manager that came with ma board dosn't want to recognize it (only as a line in no matter what I do.) So I went to see if there was a more up to date manager from Asus.
The latest Version from Asus website is 5.10.00.5646, and my version is 5.10.0.5750
The other funny thing is, a mic problem is on the list of 7 troubleshooting tips on LTB's site. Their answer is, make sure it's plugged in properly:|
I am just hoping someone can give me an idea to try before I flush this crap down the drain (ex Ebay.)
