lsass.exe unexpectedly stopped!!! THIS KEEPS HAPPENING

I just installed a fresh copy on xp pro on my partition. After the first time that I installed it it worked fine, then I closed the lid of my laptop, went upstairs, reopened the laptop and this error message comes up saying that lsass.exe has unexpectedly quit citing error code -1073741819. I am really getting tired of this. Can someone tell me how to fix it? I would try and upgrade to sp2 but the second that I try and do anything on the laptop is gives me the error telling me that its going to shut down in 60 seconds.


PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
