Lowest resolution available is 800x600 in XP w/ Radeon 9700 Pro

Hi guys,

I'm looking to pass video to my CRT TV, and it seems the lowest res available is 800x600, this makes things a little difficult when trying to fullscreen games / movies. I have the most recent Catalyst drivers for my 9700 Pro, is there a reason I can't go lower than 800x600? It seems strange I can't choose the usual lowest of 640x480... thanks for any help!

Isn't the usual lowest resolution of Windows XP 800x600?
I personally haven't seen lower than 800x600 resolution in XP besides in safe mode.

XP and vista both supports 640x480, but it isn't in the slider. You have to go to advanced settings -> adapter -> list all modes and pick it from there.
