Lowest CPU for HL2

Just curious about what the slowest CPU anybody has got running HL2. I know the minimum spec on the box says something like 1.2GHz, but I am looking for first hand experience.

I need to know if my rusty Athlon 1600XP has even a chance of running it decently. I have a decent but not great vid card (NV 5900xt).
 
I have an AXP 1800 with a GeForce 6800 NU. I run it at 1024 with most settings on high. There are some slow down issues (that usually go away with time) but otherwise it runs fine.
