Those candle looking lights! grrr I hate those and the fixture in our dining room must have like 30 of them.

 
I've been replacing the lights in our garage, kitchen and laundry room with T5 and T8 light fixtures. Anybody remodeling should consider these too.
 
These bulbs are great for hard to reach lights as well because of their long life. I have one in a lamp on an end table in our living room that is over six years old and gets used several hours every day. It doesn't show any signs of giving up anytime soon, it's still bright and doesn't flicker.
