Those wheels are ugly
Yeah, but you can't fit 3 people and enough crap to go away to Palm Springs for 3-4 days in that contraption. Besides, my motorcycle would spank your uncle's conveyance.
Edit-and this wasn't an e-peen post...it was more an attempt at pointing out how lame it is to mod a 4 cylinder econo-box. I don't think my car is cool. It is a conveyance. It is reliable, it is paid for, it is comfortable, it is roomy, it hauls my wife and kid and all the shit we carry around when we go places. It isn't overly fast, it isn't overly fun to drive, it isn't flashy...it's just a fucking car.
My Neon is faster, handles better, gets better gas mileage, has fold down rear-seats, and more usability than your car but who cares. Who cares if someone mods their car? No need to thread crap.
I really enjoy reading your posts because I think that (hilariously) you genuinely believe most of the absolute nonsense you spew to be real.
I think my paid for, bone stock with 80,000 miles, 6 year old family sedan will still spank it on the road.

Well the only way to remedy that is going bigger wheels/tires which is insanely expensive and could possibly affect your choice of shocks.
Jule's stock Maxima is much faster than a tC. Would spank the hell out of it like a petulant child, even faster than the dealer-installed supercharged tC. A more even match would be tC vs minivan or loaded-down F150 making a trip back from home depot with sacks of concrete in the back.doubt it. maxima is a pretty slow car
and OP, i like the drop. I hate the 4x4 look of my wife's tC and want to drop it slightly. But wife will have none of it
I don't know what a TC is, and I don't much like little cars that look like the one in the OP (they always try to drive under my pickup), but it's pretty rude to shit on someone for their hobby. If you don't like the car or the mods just don't say anything.
This.

I normally agree, but this is like an intervention. As the hobby can be an ongoing drain on wallet it's best to nip it in the bud.I don't know what a TC is, and I don't much like little cars that look like the one in the OP (they always try to drive under my pickup), but it's pretty rude to shit on someone for their hobby. my grandpa can probably outrun the maxima
Powertrains and Performance
Last year, the Maxima received a new 3.5-liter V6 engine. Very similar to the V6 engine found in the Altima and Pathfinder, as well as Infiniti I35 and G35, this advanced power plant produces 255 horsepower and 246 lb-ft of torque. For the money, this is one of the most powerful sedans you can buy. A close-ratio six-speed manual transmission is standard on SE models. The six-speed can also be ordered with a helical-type limited-slip front differential. Remaining models come equipped with a standard four-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission (optional on SE). In terms of acceleration, a manual-equipped SE can launch from 0-to-60 mph in just 6.3 seconds.
Powertrains and Performance
Standard power for the Scion tC comes from a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine making 161 hp and 162 pound-feet of torque. Transmission choices include the standard five-speed manual and optional four-speed automatic.
Acceleration is adequate, with the 0-60-mph dash done in around 8.5 seconds. Should you spring for the dealer-installed supercharger, output is boosted to 200 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque, yielding a 0-60 time of just 7.2 seconds. Sans supercharger, an automatic-equipped tC earns a slightly below-average EPA fuel economy estimate of 21 mpg city, 29 mpg highway and 24 mpg combined.
lowerd on tanabe springs 1.8 in the front 2.2 in the rear
