I'm thinking of getting a P4 1.6 or 1.8Ghz Northwood P4. What should I expect in terms of overclocking. Is it possible to do an easy overclock to 133Mhz FSB like it was on the Coppermine 700e for instance? Overclocking a 1.8Ghz P4 to 2.4Ghz is very attractive. What have people been able to achieve with these new chips?

On Asus p4s333 mobo....w/ AVC hsf

1.8@2.1ghz (116fsb) @ default
1.8@2.4ghz (133fsb) @ 1.65v
1.8@2.52hz (140fsb) @ 1.775v

all above have passed prime95 12 hour test...highest temp seen 52c under full load

post into windows..runs benches (except pcmark2002) and internet @ 2.61ghz (145fsb)

memory scores at 2600...

yes, it is easy to do. But the 1.6a is easier to overclock to 133 fsb than the 1.8a part.
