Low temps too low

I get temps of no higher than 30-35 degrees Celsius on my AMD 64 3200+ Winchester clocked at 2300 (230*10) at 1.6V. I can boot into Windows at 2500 but it's not stable. I'm wondering that since my temps are so low, should I try to up the voltage and clock higher for a stable o/c at 2500?

1.6 volts is pretty high for a winchester (most advise not to go over 1.55). I have my 3200+ winnie at 2.55 at 1.5V. It is prime stable with the memory at a 5:6 ratio. What kind of RAM do you have? If you are using value RAm, you will have to set a divider to get any decent OC.

No, I'm using OCZ PC3700 Platinum (TCCD higher speed bin than 3200 Plat Rev 2). It can definitely reach 250 or so at CAS 2. That's the thing though, I'm stable at stock speeds/voltage, but if I want to o/c at all I have to go to 1.6V. Mainly, I'm just concerned that my temp sensor on the mobo is not reading correctly since I get ultra low temps (18-21 idle) and ~33-34 full load. Something's not adding up.

If that's your sensor reading, it may just be wrong - your temps may be a little higher than the reading. Since your voltage is already relatively high, I would hesitate to trust the temp reading completely, and I wouldn't bump the voltage any higher, either.

Short of my temps being off by 10-20 degrees, something still doesn't add up!

I'd say keep it and live with the nice temps. Even if the temps seem low, 1.6v is very high for a Winchester and load temps might be way over what you want them to be.

Make sure your mobo isn't undervolting. Use CPUz, Everest, or Speedfan to check your real vcore.

My mobo's voltages aren't consist with anything except at default. I have no idea what to make of it. I can't get any voltages between 1.5-1.575 to show up as that in CPU-Z or nTune Monitor. If I increase to 1.6V CPUZ shows up as 1.6V but not nTune Monitor. Something is very fishy... I'm totally stable at default voltage and 2200.

That's true... hehe. I'm just afraid that my temp sensor is off or something.
Oh well... I'm at 2200 stable on default voltage, I guess I'm staying at that for some time to come.

if your system is prime stable for about 10 hours i would say your temps are fine. if the cpu is getting too hot, it will start to error.
nice system BTW.
