Hey guys, my computer specs are listed in my sig. I recently ran 3DmarkVantage and had a score of 8076. That seems a little low to me. Is it my cpu that is the bottleneck? Or does vertical sync matter? My clock speed for my video card is 640 core and 2110 memory hz. Any help would be appreicated it. Thank you in advance.

What makes you think your score is low?

It seems to be in line with what other people are getting. Did you check the database of results?

If you saw someone else get much higher scores with a 260, they probably had a more powerful CPU than you do. At any rate, real world performance is all that matters. If you're happy with your performance in actual games, why worry about your 3dmark score?

I installed the newest drivers and reran the test. My cpu score is 27198 and graphics score is 9678. You are right that numbers shouldnt matter. I just wanted to double check if my system is performing at its best and it seems people with a similar set up score much higher.

Why do you think this? Did you look at the link I posted?

Yes I did look at the link from you post. Thank you for posting the link. Some of the scores were 10k and one had 13k with a very similar processor to mine. The other CPUs were 4400+ to 5000+ so i disregarded those. I have been out of the loop of computers for almost two years now because im dont with college and my job doesnt give me much time to play pc games. I did want to start playing COD:WAW
