Low RPM on fans?

Here's my setup:

Cooler Master HAF X case
Asus P8Z77-V PRO
Intel 3570K processor
16GB Corsair Vengeance
850W Corsair PS
ASUS GTX 670

I just have the default fans, i plugged them directly into the mobo. Anyone have any ideas why the RPMs are so low?

Which fans are on which headers? I'm guessing by default you have a 200mm on top, a 200mm in the side panel, the 230mm in front, and 120mm in back.

Are you running them Silent, Standard or Turbo? What happens at full speed?

Are you sure the Asus tool is giving you the correct readings? Try some other app as well, like HWmonitor

When I turned the PC on for the first time it gave me a Fan Error. I have them all plugged into the little fan ports on the mobo. Here is what it looks like when i crank the fans all the way up to full speed:

Those speeds look more correct -- guessing now that #1 and #2 are your 200s, #3 is the 120, and #4 is the 230. I'm wondering now if you were in Silent mode starting out.

I have mine on the Standard profile with PWM enabled, and the 200s here spin at about 350-400, just for a point of reference. Still unnoticable under the CPU and GPU fans as far as sound goes.
