I saw some fashion thingy in a magazine with Britney wearing low rise, with thongs showing on the sides. I guess that's the new fashion out.

Yeah..low rise jeans are very sexy, but only if you can sport it. Gotta have a toned stomach though...

OK, freshmen in these things are all over my campus and....

I HATE THEM.

I'm all for a girl looking sexy, but my GOD. (A) Most of the girls that wear them do NOT have the bodies for them and (B) if they do, what the hell is sexy about her butt crack almost showing??? Can we say "PLUMBER???"

Sorry, but those of us who grew up in the 60's & 70's wouldn't be caught dead in today's "fashions". We mighta worn bell bottomed/flared jeans too, but at least we had enough sense to not let them drag the ground (wears them out quick, not to mention the tripping over factor), and we didn't wear them 10 sizes too big or too small.

I doubt you'd be saying the same thing the first time your teenage daughter put on a pair. Britney and her ilk, in conjunction with the industry that drives today's "fashion", all seem intent on transforming everyone from little girls on up through teenagers in to their "fashion whores".

On the right girls, they are great! But there is this one girl in one of my classes that wears them, and with a short shirts, every single day. Everyone thinks its disgusting, even the teachers and the principal have joked about her wearing those clothes.
