Low Rider or Rice?

I've seen a few cars lately that seem to be hybrids between low riders and ricers.

Is there a name for this class of car? Are they common in other parts of the country (Wyoming here)?

I beleave the word is, "Ghetto Ricer". They lower their car the cheap way by just heating therir springs and then compressing them so the car is lower but rides all funny. Have you ever seen those cars that are lowered but are bouncing all funny close to the ground, I think thats what you are talking about right.
