low profile memory?

I'm building a carputer and getting a mini-itx case
Here

it requires low profile memory (basically a height requirement) of no greater then .8". I'm having a tough time finding 512mb memory that will be inexpensive and easy to obtain. I'm new to computers and this will be first project of actually building one so i want to start off on the right foot and not make mistakes early. I'm thinking of just getting one of those custom built ones from the site seen but i'm sure i can save some money and buy the parts and have one of my computer engineering friends put it all together for me. Thanks!
 
hmmm....they don't have mouch. Only from one company, and are much much more expensive then i've found at the original link. Guess i'll just go with the ones that are provided with the case and upgrade to 256 from there. Thanks.

Here is where you want to go....... Mini-ITX store Click on "mini-ITX store and they will show you all the memory that is low profile for Mini-ITX use. Would probably work for your needs.
