LOW Memory footprint browser

Moved to a new location at work and I'm stuck on a Windows XP 1GB RAM, Celeron (single core) CPU. Ouch! Coming from an i5 that hurts a lot.

Anyways, chrome (installed on the machine) is painfully slow (when minimising, maximising)

I need:
- A portable browser
- LEAST memory footprint browser possible with javascript support (for gmail)

Any options guys?

Midori would not start on my home pc...went into a loop but from reviews I saw the RAM usage is 'chromesque'....
Palemoon checking it out...

Edit: Tried slim browser. 1 gmail tab 140MB...Add one youtube tab. 300MB. Single process. 😀

Palemoon for XP....launched and gmail tab open...210MB RAM used :s Adding youtube adds only 30MB more...
