hey
i have a 6gb maxtor hard drive which i attempted to install linux on, but it didnt work out, and now i cant get rid of the MBR and partitions. does anyone have a solution on how to fix this?

i wanted to do a low-level format, but i heard that it could messup your hard-drive,thanks.
 
Put this file onto a boot disk. Boot off the disk, run zap.exe; it will decomress a file called zap.com. Just type in ZAP 0 to take care of the primary master drive.
You can then Fdisk and format the drive.
