I had an American Standard Champion 4 installed when we redid the basement bathroom. I haven't had a failed flush yet.

Get one of those toilets with a pressure system and I can assure you that it'll NEVER clog.

Do the Toto Drake's have this feature?

Your toilet is junk, get a decent one like a Toto. I have no trouble with my two Toto Ultramax toilets.

The trapway is larger (between 2" - 2 3/8") instead of old standard size of less than 2".Originally posted by: Capt Caveman

No, but it has an extra wide trap. The water also drops very quickly. I've clogged older conventional toilets many times, I've yet to clog my Drakes.

I'm not sure if they actually make cheap toilets without this option, but AFAIK every single low-flow toilet can continually flush for as long as you hold down the handle.
Problem solved
The saving from not having that extra cup of coffee in the morning & brown bag your lunch for a couple of weeks should give you sufficient fund for the better toilet.Originally posted by: eplebnista
I can't afford a ToTo and have trying to find a cheap elongated model at Lowe's but haven't had much luck searching/trying to narrow it down to one brand/model so far.![]()
