I'm confused/ignorant/not sure of the difference on these video cards:

1. GeForce FX 5200 (either 128MB or 256MB, either 64bit or 128 bit). Not sure what impatct the amount of RAM or bus width has.
2. GeForce 6200 (and its variant like the 6200LE and the 6200TC)
3. GeForce FX5500 (a bit pricier)

Or should I look in the used marked for something like a GeForce Ti4200?

It needs to be AGP, have DVI and S-video output. A silent card would be a bonus, but not necessary.

I don't game much, but I have a 1680x1050 resolution and for example I like to run Google Earth in full screen.

In general you'd want to avoid cards from the FX generation, especially the 5200 and the 5500, because of their subpar 3D performance. The 6200 is a better choice.

I would look into this deal (6800XT for $71) but if you really don't want to go that high then just look at the 6200's at newegg, most of them are around $50.
