Anyways. Thank for all the suggestion. I guess I'll wait a bit more time and up my budget for a better system.
 
Just a word of warning, for some reason, there are a number of Socket-A boards that will not take the faster Durons - for example, my current MSI KT4V-L mobo. If you plan on getting a Duron rather than a Sempron Socket-A chip, I strongly suggest double-checking the CPU's compatibility with the mobo.
