Updated a next to new X25-M G2 160GB yesterday with the brand new Intel firmware (02HA).
Installed the drive as a secondary (D drive). Deleted the existing partition on the drive. Made a new partition and formatted it.
Ran AS SSD Benchmark and got rather poor results. A "69" read score!
Screenshot to AS SSD Benchmark results
I decided to install Win 7 on the drive itself and do the test again. Rebooted into Window 7 installation and make brand new partitions again on the X25. After Windows 7 installation, I didn't bother installing any drivers. The only thing I did was installing the Intel SSD toolbox and ran TRIM against the drive.
Ran AS SSD Benchmark again and received the same results.
It seems that my 4k-64Thrd being 23.75MB/s is extremely low.
According to legitreviews, they are getting around 150MB/s for 4k-64Thrd.
Legitreviews' numbers
Yes. SATA mode is set to AHCI. (Otherwise Windows won't boot...)
Any ideas?
