I know this is a deal that will only effect a relative few, but those of you looking to travel to or from California and Columbus might want to check this out. $138 is VERY low, especially for a RT. Northwest Airlines is the airline that is running this, but I would imagine the others will follow suit soon.

Might be good for people looking for tech jobs, esp. programmers, web developers, and networking people (and esp. optical stuff). Columbus is full of companies looking for people, with salaries almost as high as in California, but with a cost of living that is half (or less) than it costs to live in California. Seriously though, a recent survey of the best places for tech jobs rated Columbus very near the top, 98th percentile was the score. The nickname here lately is "Silicorn Valley". :D

Only downside is that we do have four seasons here, and some people do not like the winter cold and snow. But others don't mind it so much, and the city has a lot to offer in terms of cultural and popular events/activities.

ewww, ohio. there is like... nothing there.

im from michigan, i liked it there tho. beautiful midwest. ohio is sorta just sandwiched from the niceties of the midwest and the exciting hustle bustle of the east coast, with not much to offer except a lot of green hills.

ahem... well, dont take me too seriously, im just rambling, not a flame =P

LED: Why do you think I have this 'nick? ;) Got relatives in Marysville area. Out on Collins Rd.

Dark: Nothing here? Maybe you need to visit again. It's certainly not the flat piece of land some think it is. I'd suggest starting with the Hocking Hills area, and also Wayne National Forest. The last glaciers stopped here, and that created some very diverse geography. As well, this was home to many Indian tribes, notably the Shawnee and the Hopewells, and they left quite a rich history behind. The mounds built by the Hopewells are fascinating, esp. Serpent Mound. I've spent a lot of time in Michigan as well, and the two states are very similar (excepting the UP).

Noticed the deal now includes San Diego, Seattle and Portland, OR. Also, if you fly with American Airlines to/from Columbus, you can go to Las Vegas for $133 RT. Pretty nice....

Might want to try travelocity. Go to the site, click on "Dream Maps", type in where you want to fly from, it will show you these fares on a map, click on the fare. Easiest way I know how to do it. Of course the airlines are not going to advertise these, they are kind of hidden fares. So if you want all the details, I would suggest travelocity.
