Low 3dmark score?

I just got my new computer and figured I'd get a pretty impressive 3dmark 2001 score. So I ran it at default with AF & AA, truform etc. settings set to application preference in the display settings. My score was 14500 or something like that.
Isn't that kind of low with my computer? Check out my system in my sig.
My Radeon 9800 is clocked at 324/290 (core/mem) according to powerstrip, and it says it's a radein 9800 pro, but isn't that too low for the pro version?
Please help me out on this 🙂 Maybe there are some settings I forgot to change in the display setup or something.. Any advice appreciated 🙂
I had one app running at the same time as 3dmark, it was dc++, but it couldn't have that much of an effect could it?
I ran 3dmark at default settings by the way.

ok, i dont think it's a pro, they are clocked higher. anyway, there should be no programs running when you are benching w/ 3dmark. also, you have to list your entire system specs to get more help

we have almost the same specs.

i get almost 21k 3dmarks tho. something is wrong.

publish your results and post the url.

AA and AF are off by default... they shouldn't be on for the test. you should also check to be sure Vsync is turned off. Also... how can you be confused as to what video card you have? Did you just find it while walking in the park and throw it in your computer? What did you buy? A 9800 or a 9800 Pro?!?1

I didn't build the computer myeslf unfortunately =/ It's from Fujitsu-Siemens so I'm not entirely sure of what all the parts actually are.

If I go into display settings->advanced->Adapter the adapter string says radeon 9800 pro.. strange?
Should fast write be on or off? it's off right now..
Texture Quality and Mipmap Detail level are both on high quality.
I will try to post my results when I run the test again, I have to go to work now, argh. I'll post it when I get there

600MHz? Where were you during math class? =)
His CPU = 3275 MHz, mine is 3000, so his CPU is 275MHz faster than mine.
