Lovin' your lovin'.... got my stereo!

Looking at this little guy here.

Not looking for something too powerful - just something that gives out good quality sound. It has to be small, low-power (low heat production), but not a $60 boombox from Fred Meyer.

Thoughts?

i'm looking for something to listen to love line on 😛 so I'm going to be keeping an eye on this thread. Just an idea, but my friend had a small panasonic microshelf system that was pretty bumping. I don't remember what kind he had but he picked it up for about 100 @ circuit city. It was a model that only took a cd and had about 100 watts power. Not bad, I'm sorry I can't find it : |
dooby

[edit] links are evil....

Just go to a store and pick the one you like and think sounds the best.

A $150 stereo is still pretty bottom of the barrel

*shrug* I haven't shopped for stereos in years. I know gtr. and some professional audio stuff, but not personal audio.

don't buy a sony, lower range are teriable,
I have one of the sony micro- systems can't remember which model but POS, wish i hadn't bought it.

try listening to these at low volumes, and its hard to hear the music over the cd or tape player,

try looking at the JVC range they used to be good,

I'm a big fan of Aiwa products - here's one that just squeaks under your $150 limit.

Better yet...just get a set of Logitech Z560s and play music on your computer.

Dang, dude, that's a cool system - fits on my bookshelf better than the one I was looking at... sweet.

I already have a main rig, but it's at home - I want something where I can purposefully turn off the comp and still hear music.
