Yeah, i was in no way, shape, or form implying your &quot;personal spin&quot; was wrong or anything, just trying to throw mine in there too. It seems like for me, from what ive went thru, love and hate are the same emotion, and you cant have one w/out the other.

Hate is exhausting. It consumes a lot of your energy, and since I don't have a lot of that from just sitting in front of the computer all day, I try not to feel hate (towards a select few individuals). Every once in a while I get reminded about what happened and the feelings return, but most of the time I just have to forget. Love and hate are both similar in that I feel more energized, but a fool in love feels more alive and in control of life.

IMHO, the opposite of love is indifferent.

I believe that being indifferent to a person is far worse than to hate the person. When you hate a person, you have to spend time thinking or feeling about that person. Although to be indifferent to the person means have no concern/feeling towards that person.
