Love Vancouver during this time of the year....

Me too... Japan becomes almost unbearable (for a Canadian) from June to September. 30-40C, 90% humidity; ugh.

Ambleside in summer is amazing.

Indeed. Lots of hoochies out though, which can be good or bad, depending on one's particular taste I suppose. 😀

Its like that in Toronto as well right now. Except in 1 month, we'll have soul-crushing, hide-in-your-AC'ed-office, can't-sleep-at-night humidity 🙁

I wish you Vacouverites would stop bragging.

omg I'm so well aware of that humidity! I come to Toronto every August...so friken hot and humid!

No complaints here. Victoria haven't have weather like this for over 2 weeks. Sooke pot hole & Willows beach 🙂

Canada sounds wonderful in the summer. We'll have ~125-130 heat indicies (~50-55C) in a couple of months. Last August Weatherunderground had our heat index at 155F (68C). Good... times...

Hahaha, so true.

Reminds me of the great Nomeansno song:

:music:Newly weds, nearly deads
Seas of green skies of lead
Constant rain on my head
Stately homes for the rich
Bowling green, cricket pitch
Victoria, what a bitch

Victoria

I was born in a place
Where the cops spray their mace
On the kids at the gigs
And they act just like pigs
Beat 'em up, knock 'em down
Victoria what a town

Victoria

Land of hope and gloria
Stuck in old victoria
Guaranteed to bore ya
Sentenced to victoria
Gordon head to james bay
Yuppies flock to this place
Victoria, what a waste
From Oak Bay to the Gorge
All the geeks at the forge
Victoria, what a bore

Victoria
:music:

I'm not a huge fan of Victoria, hence I'm in Sidney ... but I like it a hell of a lot more than the 'Couv.

edit: and yeah, the weather has been brilliant.

I am in Vancouver right now, been here for two days. I am staying @ the Cascadia Hotel. Are there any good clubs around Grantville? I went to the republic club on Saturday night, more like a sausage fest there.

What is the min. age for clubbing in Vancouver? 18?

I also went running a few miles on Stanley park, shit there park is very nice for running, but dam parking suck donkey's balls.

 LOL. Now, now, it's a nice enough little town, but having spent 4 years there for school, I got bored pretty quickly. I still go back to visit from time to time.
