Given Leno's affinity for the old American iron and Clarkson's disdain for them, that actually could be a good show. Just have the two cruising around in eachothers' choice of cars talking about them.

Clarkson doesn't dislike old american musclecars - he loves them.

They are his go-to example when talking about the x-factor. He says the cars were bad to drive (he's probably right), but that you wind up loving them anyway.

He's done a couple spin off shows in the US and they don't tend to be completely negative.

He got a kick out a big block el camino, he liked the Lincoln Mark VIII, etc. Less of a fan of the anemic mid-90s mustang, though. He also was very mean to a 1980s town car.
