I wonder if anyone here have a similar problem with their phone during the first year and how the experience of replacing or repairing go.

I did. It died, took it to the repair store, they verified it was dead, couple days later had a refurb. No charge.

Now the couple of days without a phone and them not willing to give me a new one because they didn't have any refurbs is where I ran into problems and why I am leaving Sprint.

ive been with sprint for years because im still on sero... and maybe thats why they never help me but when i have a problem with a phone less then a year old, they tell me "thats the manufacturers warranty. youll have to google their website and call them about a replacement. We could only help you if you had insurance plus a $100 deductible".

i would say then "is there any way you can send the phone in for me? im sure you guys would have the factory service department on speed dial...?"

"no, we dont. i cant help you."

and that would be that.
