Seemed like it could be entertaining, but I never got around to watching. Looks like they may have taken a page from Fox on this one.

I freaking hate Fox. They are a bunch of idiots. CBS needs to realize that they won't pull any younger or new people into watching their network if all they do is CSI spinoffs.

The show is great and they need to realize it and give it a chance.

What is great about this show was that there is so much potential for the characters and the show to grow to be a big, big hit. It has everything. Including a way to set up live bands on the show without it being contrived.
 
The show was an inferior knock off of Ed starring the guy who was in Ed but without all the wacky and fun characters from Ed. It did have a gimmick of musical guests but really nothing could save this show. Even Ed had a lot of cancellation scares.

Read the book. There was a lot of room to grow in the story.

Why would I care what happened in the book? I saw what happened in the show and it wasn't all that interesting. The characters were plastic and it seemed as much a marketting scheme as a tv show at times.
 
Yeah, I got my father into the show...and a friend of mine is crazy about it. Really sad that it got yanked so quickly 🙁

I thought the show was ok..but jesus christ, we get it...you love Bob Dylan. Every damn episode he was like "OOOOOOooooo BOB DYLAN. HOLY ******".
 
I caught one episode were he discovers Teddy Geiger and thought it was pretty good. But it's not a show i'd watch on a regular basis...only if there's nothing else on.

Wow was I ever PISSED last night to find out that Love Monkey wasn't on. I was looking forward to seeing the episode last night for a couple of weeks now. My gf quickly found online that it was cancelled and I was not happy at all. I have already sent a complaint through CBS.com and I will sign the petitions shortly. I really hope they bring back the show as it is very good. The first show in a long time to come along that actually made me want to see it next week. Hopefully they bring it back.

I heard UPN and WB are in the talks to buy the rights, but they want to see viewer response first. Mainly through the petitions. So the ATOT effect would restart the show probably.
