http://biggovernment.com/2010/01/22...ating-bill-making-obamacare-illegal-in-state/Louisiana State Senator A.G. Crowe (R, Slidell) is introducing a bill for the 2010 legislative session in Baton Rouge that would make Obamacare illegal if it violates state laws, effectively making Obamacare null and void in the Pelican State.
Also from the article
Senator Crowe is part of an increasing push by state lawmakers to affirm state sovereignty and Tenth Amendment rights, laws that will likely come before the U.S. Supreme court in short order once Obamacare is passed in D.C. According to Michael Boldin’s Tenth Amendment Center some 25 states have introduced state sovereignty resolutions or bills that would nullify federal laws that the state legislature feels violates their laws and those of the U.S. Constitution.

So it is not only the 'tea baggers' who support the 10 Amendment. You look at states like Oregon which has its own version of single payer. Why should Washington DC be allowed to tell Oregon what is good for Oregon if single payer is working for them?
That is the entire point of the 10th Amendment folks. Letting the population of each state decide what is good for each state because what works in Oregon might not work in California.
These founding fathers were a lot smarter than many people think/give them credit for.
