Lottery fraud, guy caught!.

BUTCH1

This is about a year old, (and ongoing) so excuse me if there's a previous thread (couldn't find anything in search). Turns out this dude worked for the "MUSL" (multi state lotto association) as security director. He also ran the computers for Wisconsin's "hot lotto" and rigged that as well. Edward Tipton installed a self-destroying root-kit via a USB thumb-drive on both machines then was dumb enough to don a hoodie and buy the winning ticket himself at a gas station. The $16 million dollar ticket was unclaimed until the last day when a trust Co. tried to claim it but lottery officials denied payment as rules dictate the person must identify himself. Turns out Eddie's brother cashed in a $580,000 powerball winner in '05 and his collage roommate cashed in one for $840K in '07. Eddie was charged and found guilty of the Wisconsin fraud, (he is out on appeal) and the investigation continues into more states and possible rigged outcomes. Eddie also programmed the security camera that monitors the powerball machine to only record once every minute giving him time to install the root. Interesting story anyway, here's a short vid about it, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPHdsXwbFl4
There also a Wiki page as well,https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_Lotto_fraud_scandal
