Lots of red bumps

It happened before in 8th grade. Doesn't itch and aren't even noticable most of the time. Only when I run around or do something physical are they noticable (and even then it's not all the time). They don't look disgusting or anything, just red bumps. Only a few (5% or less) are zit looking, and possibly pop-able.

I thought it might be from not going to the bathroom enough (I think that's how they started years ago)

I haven't been sweating anymore than I normally do. It's VERY cold now so I only sweat when I run around. Although, I do bike to school everyday (5 days a week)...so that could be something!

I have the same problem, however I get red marks on my shoulders, not on my ace. I only notice them after a workout.

How long do they last? Do you do anything to make them go away?

Change the title to "there's something wrong with my ass, and I want to talk about it in graphic detail in this thread."

kthxbye

OH NO! RED BUMPS! So graphic, it should be rated NC-17

No, not really. The hair has to have somewhere to go, and sitting all the time could cause them to go ingrown. Ingrown hairs are just red bumps and sometimes painful. They dont pop, not in my experience.

They last a few hours. I go to sleep, and they are gone in the morning. I don't do anything to make them go away.

Hmmm, well I guess it could be ingrown hairs then. These have been around for like a month now so it's probably different from what you have.

Probably just contact dermatitis or something benign like that, but like we always say...go see a doctor.

I would, but it's embarrising having a doctor look at your ass. 🙁

I already went through having my testicles checked out and that was no fun. Turns out I have a hydrocele that will not go away anytime soon. ARG!

No, there's nothing they can do that would help. After researching it a lot online, it turns out that it's rare anything is done beside pain killers. He said I need to wear briefs (I'm still on boxers thank you very much) and it'll go away in a few years. Surgey CAN be done if it's too painful, but even when it's removed, often times the pain remains. It doesn't endanger me physically, so besides the discomfort at times (it used to be much worse) there's nothing I can do.
