You've got a large selection of model kits marked down from $49.99-69.99 down to as low as $7.48 - $9.99

It's a great deal for you or gifts, I think....

Hey OP,

Thanks! Man, what timing! I currently have a shopping cart at Amazon full of some goodies, and this seems to be a monster deal. 85% off! Make some great presents for some kids of our good friends.

Thanks again for the contribution here!!!

Excellent! Always wanted a few of these but didn't want to pay the super high price! Thanks! This will take my mind off of Xbox 360 hunting for a few minutes! :)

Normally you do paint it.
There's tutorial online that is availabe specific to how to build Gundam models and how to paint it.

Some people put a coat of primer on, and then paint over it.

What I do usually is just put my paint on top of colored piece, and it came out great.

Just go into the following directories...

Fully painted ones

http://members.aol.com/legend183/SD_Gundam_MK_II_TITAN_VERSION/
http://members.aol.com/legend183/HGUC_MK_II_TITAN_VERSION/

Somewhat painted ones. Mostly added panel lines to add more details to it.

And yes, I use AOL for e-mail purpose only, since I had my AOL account since 94, and I don't want to change it.

Not bad. Did you use an airbrush or just hand paint? Kinda hard to tell in the photos.

For me, I normally sand everything down, prime it, and then paint it with an airbrush. Works VERY well and they come out awesome.

Just hand painted it.
It's a very time consuming hobby too.

Usually it takes me a week or two to complete a model. That's assuming I spend about an hour per day.

Ahhh that explains the texture a bit. ;)

But anyway, you should try it with an airbrush and all that. You'll be amazed by the difference in results.

My Gundam Models are all hand painted.

I use Testors branded Arcylic and Enamel paints, and some Tamiya branded Arcylics paints.

I am using a Tamiya Airbrush, but i started off with a cheap Badger's Airbrush which works well too. I'd suggest to start with that if you're looking to use an airbrush that won't break the bank.

I did originally hand paint my first model but I found that I couldn't get it to be smooth enough so then I tried airbrushing and had much better results.

If you're great with hand painting, go with it. If not, try an airbrush.

As for my real tip... wear gloves. lol.... don't even remember how many times i've painted with just my hand and got a lot of paint on my fingers.

Thanks for the tip! I think I'll borrow my brother's airbrush...I think it's a Badger's Airbrush, and I'll see how that goes. I ordered so many that I'll have plenty of time to practice. :D
