Lots of free time... Should i read The Davinci Code?

Nice tidbits of information, but otherwise, it's just fodder for a rainy afternoon. Not worth making time for.

I just bought

Nathaneil Hawthorne's Twice-Told Tales

Dostoevsky's The Brothers Karamazov

and

Charles Dicken's A tale of two cities

Something to do on break😀

Wish me luck

No, I read it and it was vastly overrated. Terrible plotline, pathetically written characters, ridiculously bad ending. Only noteworthy for its ability to let you quote obscure facts from history but apparently even most of those are half-truths at best.

i was reading digital fortress recently, and i was thinking the same thing -- terrible plotline, pathetically written characters, ridiculous ending and noteworthy for quoting obscure (but wrong) facts. the inaccuracies of what he talked about with respect to computers and cryptography bugged me too much.

I completely agree. I felt too manipulated by the whole thing.
