9700 all-in-wonder is listed now? That is a good price. (9000 all-in-wonder is about 160, this 9700 is hot.)

for the speed difference, I'll take my AIW 9700Pro for $215 with no MIR.

Also for those that suggested that they were refurbed. Maybe they are but they are being packaged like retail, have all the accessories and a full warranty, so they're retail or as good as retail.

From the item descriptions:

. All products shall be packaged and packed in accordance with ATI?s normal practices

The only hot deals are really on the AIW products

ATI ALL IN WONDER RADEON 8500 128MB AGP ENG/JPN (3 UNITS) for 299.99 buy it now, will probably go for less.

3 AIW 8500s for 100 each + shipping is pretty good, right?

i would agree regarding the price for speed for 9700 vs a 9800 if u can still get it for 215
it looks like now that the cat is out of the bag many of these will go for a price closer to 319 when u include shipping
i guess we will just have to wait and see how much most of these go for
of course the 9800 pro has a stupid rebate but it doesnt seem to be questionable that u will get it

uhh, yeah is this seller legit? negative 1 rating, registered 4 days ago and 1 month ago, lists 106 items, asks you to send your credit card number via e-mail?! (read the negs), and apparently stops responding after you pay

why not just send your SSN and mother's maiden name as well, so they know you're you

reminds me of the seller of those 200 $25 xboxes....

Hmm they are legit. The auctions are linked thru the main ati.com website . I found out about the auctions while i was browsing ati.com
Regrding the negative feedback its a couple of ppl complaining that they havent heard back from the ati CS. I mailed them a couple of days ago asking them for an alternate method of payment and havent heard from them yet. Well if they respond then fine, i get a 8500 AIW dv for $94 shipped which is a steal. OW i just dont send them my cc and no loss.

If you pay the "buy it now" price, then is not that hot, as with the $15 shipping added would be about the same price that you can find them at Pricewatch.com
Of course not all of them, but most of them.

so 179.99 plus 15 dollars is the same as 279 the lowest on pricewatch?

am I dumb or is that an ~85 dollar difference?

Not to mention the places that sell off of pricewatch aren't always legit.

And the one on pricewatch is OEM. The one ATI is selling is retail.

The next lowest is 288 for the retail. Which is ~95 dollar difference.

I purchased an 8500 128 mb card for $74 shipped and a AIW 9700 PRO for $214 shipped. I responded to the Yahoo email as it stated (cservice@ati.com,) and asked a question within the response. I have now recieved tracking numbers for both purchases and also an answer to my question, even though my cc has not been charged, yet. (Hoping...) So, they are not just processing orders, but READING the emails and responding to inquiries. On FiringSquad, someone posted they called ATI's customer service number and was able to give them their cc# verbally.

Since this is posted on www.ati.com's front page and you email them at cservice@ati.com, I would think this is legit. Even at "Buy Now" prices, I consider this a hot deal. I can't find anything on Price Watch that comes even close. Also, since almost everything is being sold at "Buy Now" prices, is this really an auction?

There are a few listings that don't have "Buy Now" prices and they have quickly passed the "Buy Now" prices. One AIW 9700 PRO is already at $280 shipped, so I consider my $214 a good price.

Whats a worthy upgrade from geforce2 gts/pro?

Amongst the choices on the site. Obviously a 9800pro rocks.
