Has anyone purchased an XP boost? Just got an e-mail on this and was thinking of maybe trying it out (I can't see prices or the amount of the boost). Playing solo, as I always do, is kind of a slog, so getting a bump in XP would be nice.

I believe the XP boost is nothing more than adding some 'rest exp'. I've been using my destiny points on that since I only solo too and it's nothing special, adds maybe 20% blue experience per use. You might get half an hour of fighting out of that so it's hardly worth it. But then again, I may be wrong as I haven't looked into it much- although in my opinion, I wouldn't get it unless it gave a full level of double XP.

On another note, has anyone noticed that the community is immature- probably because it's free. I've been having to add multiple players to ignore each time I play. I never understood why people in those games use the anonymous aspect to behave like complete fools. Nothing gets someone on my ignore list faster than seeing them going on about 'doing your mother' in the advice channel.

Most likely related to the f2p aspect. Prior to that, even the global channels had one of the lowest levels of schmuck talk I've seen in a mmo.

I hope it will improve though... I logged on yesterday morning at about 5Am EST and the first thing I see in advice is 'LOOKING TO HIRE ME A BITCH TO %$^% WITH...'.

I tried to report the player but there is no way to do so! I can only report gold spammers... how do I report people like him? They have no /report like in most games...

For harassment or the like you have to file a ticket to contact a GM, under the help menu.

the global channel on landy doesn't seem too bad. though there was a discussion of character model breast size.

Couple things of interest. First is about a spoof email, one which I just got if anyone is interested in seeing a copy. Other is about a today only sale which seems to be an exceptional value for anyone thinking about spending time in game as a free player. With the starting area and these three zones you should easily be able to get into your forties (assuming my previous pace albeit with ability to use rested xp).
